Q: Why did you join Women in Digital?

Q: What’s your specialty? What makes you tick?
A: Website design and strategy is my passion.
Q: What was your first job out of college?
A: Graphic Designer at a sign shop.
Q: What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A: Delegate what you aren’t passionate about – whether that’s laundry or bookkeeping.
Q: What can you give your fellow members of Women in Digital?
A: Free website reviews/audits to make sure the site is on track!
Q: What will be your first ask?
A: Coffee dates with other digital mavens!
Q: What does digital mean to you?
A: Being connected even when far away.
Q: What do you think is the greatest challenge facing women today?
A: Letting “social norms” dictate how far we can go and our own fear of failure (or being seen by others as failures).
Q: What do you think we can do to overcome that challenge?
A: When afraid, I ask, “What’s the worst that could happen?” The response has never involved someone dying, and the worst was that I lose everything and move back to PA with my mom. Well, that’s not bad because she loves her grand-daughters and she cooks all my fave foods… I also pump myself up with OWTFGFIA (OH WHAT THE FUCK, GO FOR IT ANYWAY) while jumping up and down. Yes, sometimes in heels and sometimes in a restroom before a client meeting.
Q: Why do you love digital?
A: Because you’re connected to the world! You can start a movement, make someone laugh and make them cry even if they’re on the other side of the world.
