The first building with electric in Columbus, the Southern Theater opened in 1896. Today the theater is beautifully restored and connected to the Westin Hotel.

Built in 1807, the Great Southern Hotel or Westin Columbus, is the oldest surviving hotel in the city. Beautifully renovated and restored the Westin boasts a fascinating history and, more importantly, lightning fast wi-fi.

The Westin is directly connected to the Southern Theater and located just a 10 minute walk from Franklinton, German Village and the City’s Downtown Center. Other vibrant neighborhoods like the Short North and Italian Village are a five minute cab away.
